Dr. Johnson was raised in Bedford, Texas where his father, Dr. Michael Johnson, practiced orthodontics for 28 years. After graduating from Trinity High School, Dr. Johnson received his Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University in 1991. He then attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 1996. His orthodontic residency was completed at Saint Louis University where he earned his Masters degree in Orthodontics. After graduating in 1999, Dr. Johnson returned to Texas to join his father and Dr. Collins in practice. In his spare time, Dr. Johnson is an avid golfer and also enjoys cycling and running. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Society of Orthodontists, the Fort Worth County District Dental Society and is a past president of the Irving Dental Study Club.
